Starting March 17th, please join us in welcoming Dr. Nayeon Han to the Kenwood Animal Hospital Team!

Dr. Nayeon Han joins Kenwood Animal Hospital and returns to her home state bringing a passion for veterinary medicine and a wealth of experience treating animals of all sizes. With 3.5 years in fast-paced, mixed-animal practices, she has honed her skills in dermatology, preventive care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Han earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to practice in Yakima, WA, and Merced, CA, where she gained invaluable experience managing a wide range of medical cases. A member of both the AVMA and MVMA, she is committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary advancements through continuing education.

Her journey to veterinary medicine was anything but conventional. Fluent in English and Korean, Dr. Han first pursued a degree in economics and worked as a marketing director in South Korea before following her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. Today, she channels that same dedication into educating clients on disease prevention and home care, believing informed pet owners are essential partners in their pet’s health. Outside the hospital, Dr. Han enjoys indulging her creative side with embroidery and tapestry weaving, and hitting the golf course whenever the sun is shining. She is thrilled to be part of the Kenwood Animal Hospital team and looks forward to providing compassionate care to the Bethesda-Chevy Chase community.
