The vets and staff at Kenwood Animal Hospital took care of our dog, Charsi for the 15 years of her life starting when she was an 8 week old puppy. Most recently Dr. Schultz was her primary vet. The care that we received for Charsi for 15 years went beyond keeping her well and treating her various ailments. It included compassionate support from all of the staff and the amazing management skills of Bonnie at the front desk. Bonnie is a true gem as a manager and as a person.

Eventually we had to put our beautiful pup to sleep at age 15 years. it was the hardest day of my life because I loved and still love her dearly. My son, who just graduated from vet school, came with me that day and he told me it was the most compassionate and peaceful goodbye that he has ever witnessed. I shared my pain with Bonnie who was so compassionate and supportive as was Ashley and all the staff. They sent a beautiful card, knowing how deeply sad I was even though I knew it was necessary to relieve my darling dog from pain. I will never forget the years of tender and skilled care and the genuine compassion.
